CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The Chief Administrative Officer is the administrative head of the Municipality and accountable to Reeve and Council.
The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer ensures Municipality operations are maintained and handled efficiently.
Responsibilities of the Chief Administrative Officer include:
- Directs, supervises and reviews performance of all departments.
- Implements policies, programs and decisions of Council.
- Prepares, presents, and submits annual Financial Plans.
- Advises, informs and makes recommendations to Council concerning policies and programs.
- Provides leadership to Municipality employees and leads the implementation of Council priorities in order to build a sustainable future and meet objectives identified in Council’s Strategic Plan.
- Manages the administration of Municipality elections.

ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
The Administrative Clerk is responsible for a variety of corporate, administrative and legislative functions resulting in continual contact with the Chief Administrative Officer, Council, vendors, and general public.
The Administrative Clerk is responsible for the following:
- Provides administrative support services to Council.
- Maintains, processes, and records all proceedings and other records of the Council and the Municipality to include minutes, agreements, resolutions, and other official documents.
- Works closely with the Chief Administrative Officer, Foreman, and Municipality employees and provides administrative guidance and support.
- Maintains Municipality records such as meeting agendas and minutes, bylaws, policies, and procedures.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT
The Finance Department is responsible for the collection, control, and disbursement of all Municipality funds.
This includes the areas of property taxation, utilities, accounts payable and receivable, information technology support, payroll and benefits, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

PROTECTIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The Protective Services Department comprises the following areas of responsibility: Fire Department, Emergency Planning, and Bylaw Enforcement.
The Fire Chief plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates all Fire Department and Emergency Planning, and works the Chief Administrative Officer to coordinate with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The Bylaw Enforcement Officer directs and coordinates Bylaw Enforcement, Building Inspection, and Animal Control operations.
